As you will have seen over the last few weeks, the extended play area is starting to take shape with some exciting new equipment. The rubber bases were installed over the weekend signalling practical completion.
The company we used to fulfill the contract have done a great job in keeping to their schedule. However, the weather has been less co-operative meaning that with the recent heavy rain, the remaining grass areas have cut up quite badly so will need time to recover. We additionally have to wait for a safety inspection and report before we are able to open the play area again.
Whilst we were hopeful of being able to open in time for the Easter Holidays, we have had to postpone this for the above reasons. Please accept our apologies, but as soon as we are able to open the play area safely, we will do so.
The fencing will remain around the ground with appropriate updates also posted on the gates.
